Bob and Julie Bolton, the owners and ranchers at Groff’s Content Farm in Frederick County. They believe that grass-fed and pasture-raised meats are best for the environment, your health, and for eating! For the last 15 years, they have been selling their healthy and delicious meats directly to loyal customers at Farmer’s Markets throughout DC and Baltimore.

They believe in allowing animals the freedom to spend their lives doing the things that make them what they are. Chickens are allowed to scratch and forage, cattle and sheep to graze. They use rotational grazing strategies informed by our years of work as ranchers and resource management professionals and supplement our animals' diet with a sprouted seed fodder we grow right on the farm (think tasty wheatgrass!).
